    credit report

    i was forced to convert my chpt 13 to a chpt due to illness the chpt 7 was discharged in oct . of this year. While in the chpt 13 the house was forclosed on also the second mortage was sold to another company . i just had a credit report done because i am considering moving and the sceond mortage is still there on the credit report .i contacted the lawyer and was told i need to contact the credit reporting companys myself and file a dispute showing that a change of address was filed with the court and the loan was discharged is this correct or if not what do i need to do ?

    Call each credit bureau listed since more than one agency may have a file on you, some with different information. The three major national credit bureaus are:

    Equifax, P.O. Box 740241, Atlanta, GA 30374-0241; (800) 685-1111.
    Experian (formerly TRW), P.O. Box 2002, Allen, TX 75013; (888) EXPERIAN (397-3742).
    Trans Union, P.O. Box 1000, Chester, PA 19022; (800) 916-8800.
