In The State Of Ct. You Are Able To Choose Federal Exemption, So Since I Am Married Can I Double All Exemptions? I Am Filing Alone. Thank You In Advance For Any Help, This Site Is Great And People Are Very Helpful, I Just Wish I Found This Site A Month Ago, Would Have Save Me A Lot Of Stress.

I moved your thread here as it is more appropriate. The Exemptions Section is not for "General Discussion" types of threads.
When filing single, even tho you are married, you cannot double any exemptions. Doubling exemptions comes in when both husband and wife are filing as "joint debtors".Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
