Does BK affect opening an investment brokerage account?

Has anyone opened an investment (stocks, futures, options) account after BK?

Would having a BK on CR be a problem?

I doubt it would be an issue...in fact, I don't think they even pull a credit report (at least not the brokerage apps I have seen). I suppose the only issue may arise in that they probably would not let you trade on margin.

Again, opening a brokerage account is not an extension of credit...so your credit history is largely irrelevant.
