    Black Friday

    Raise your hand if you were one of those insane people up and out the door before 5:00 am this morning. Man oh man, Target and Best Buy were backed up around the building this morning. Of course I was in line When the doors opened at Target, people started running. I'm happy though, got the Biggest Littlest Pet Shop for my 9 year old so it was worth it.

    I was kinda hoping to cash in on some clothes deals today, but,..........

    Daughter blew a tire and bent a wheel on Monday. She curbed the tire where some glass was in the roadway gutter. Ripped the sidewall of the tire up. The shopping money I'd saved up went to buy a new wheel and a set of tires.

    The car had been needing tires and we were just putting it off so a new set was expected. We got a wheel from a salvage yard. Right size and a very close match. If you just glance, you don't even see that the one wheel is slightly different.

    And, we aren't done yet. When Car-X did the brake job back last spring, evidently the Service Person that put the tires back on the car missed lug nut day at Wheel and Tire School. One lug nut was cross threaded so now we have to have a stud replaced as well.

      Don't look at me, I had to work. But I almost rear ended the idiot walmarter that pulled out in front of me without looking this morning. Guess they were in too big a hurry to get to the next place to notice my headlights coming at them.

          Prime Outlet Mall

          I've never ventured out on this day & was off & up at 8 am so I took a drive to I75 & the outlet malls in Ellenton, FL....I was told that the trafic was lined up for five miles at 5 in the morning!

          I had no traffic, parking problems whatsoever. Just parked outside the big lot in a strip mall & took a walk to see what I wasn't missing....

          NO REAL BARGAINS! did find a stylish warm up suit at DKNY hidden in the back of the store on a bottom dark rack....reg price on jacket was $59 & stretch pants $39. Outlet price $39 and $29....I got the whole outfit for $43 w/extra discount!
