We have been discharged a year and a half, and kept the house.

WAMU recently sold our mortgage to Wells Fargo. Will Wells Fargo report to the Credit Bureaus? WAMU has not since the discharge.

Was your BK a chapter 7 or 13.

If a chapter 7, Did you reaffirm the mortgage or simply let it ride through by continuing to make the payments on time.

Chapter 7, IIRC we only reaffirmed the auto loan, I believe we just let the mortgage "ride through".

If the mortgage was not reaffirmed, then there is no requirement that Wells Fargo report the mortgage.

Whether they will or not, will be up to their internal policy, and I don't know what their internal policy is.

Guess we'll have to wait and see, then. Thank you!

You may want to check and see why they are not reporting the mortgage to the credit bureaus, your best bet would be to wait a few months and see if it shows up. If you have goo dpay history with them it would help your credit scores tremendously to have a few years of on time payments. If they do not reoport it in a few months you may want to look at refinancing once you hit your 2 year mark, so you can have the accout reporting on your credit, and to make sure that there is nothing hanging over your head with the mortgage and how they have it in their system as being included in BK or not. Typically they are not going to bother you if your loan is on time, but if you are late they may not be so friendly. Many times lenders stop reporting your account after the BK, and many times you have to get on them to start reporting it again. Is is very common for mortgages to be sold, what type of loan do you have?
