Hi all, it's been a long time since I've been on here. I'm in the process of cleaning up my credit reports and have 2 of the 3 done so far. It was easy to do the online cleanup. My question is which credit reports does cap one check, do they check all 3? I know quite a few of you have been approved and I'm curious which they check... Also, those of you that have been approved and bought a car, how has your experience been with them?

I used the Capital One Blank Check program and they checked all three reporting agencies.

I just wanted to post that my daughter just used the Cap One Blank Check. It was a great experience. Our glitch was with the Pin Number for the employee discount. LOLOL the car she wanted (sebring) is not accepted for the discount. So she ended up with a 2007 Compass. She loves it. The process was painless (well except for the pin number situation) but with Cap One they were great. She was approved in 10 minutes on the internet. Then at the dealership it took a couple of hours for final approval from Cap One but well worth the wait. They are very up front with all fees etc. I would recommend them. Her chapter 7 was discharged in Jan 05. And she hasn't cleaned up anything on her credit report, just paid her cc on time since then.

Thanks for the information! I plan on trying to finance a car through cap one in about 2 to 3 months, just enough time to clean up my final credit report!

Thanks

Well I got approved for cap one blank check loan @ 11.95 up to 22,500.00. Got approved two weeks ago and found a vehicle I liked at 16,000.00. Process has been painless and easy so far. I was surprised at how painless and fast it was. Just haggling over the price of vehicles at the dealership is much easier than having to negociate the financing etc. Just wanted to let you know that cap one has been great so far.......:yahoo:
