I my possibly be filing bankruptcy. The 1 reason is because I owe $14000.00 to a company that filed bk. Am I still responsible for that debt.

That is a difficult question answer without more info. Strictly speaking, even if a company files BK, their accounts receivables (the money you owe them), are assets of the bankruptcy estate and therefore are still owed to the company. However, when did this company go bankrupt and have you had any contact from the companies bankruptcy trustee.

You are liable, unless the statute of limitations on collecting that debt has expired.
