    Question about hospital bill

Two years ago my son was assaulted. The hospital agreed to let us pay $50/month on the bill. The suspect was eventually prosecuted an ordered to pay me restitution of $100/month which he did.

I continued to only pay the hospital $50 and used the other $50 for groceries, etc. We still owe the hospital $600. Could this be an issue if we file bankruptcy? Thanks in advance.

Hope your son is doing all right now, ezgo. Did the restitution agreement state what the $100 had be used for?

My son is fine now. His jaw was broken and had to be wired shut but it healed fine. No the restitution didn't say specifically what it was for but the hospital knows we got it.
