Creditors didn't call today should I be worried?

I have been getting over 50 calls per day from creditors. It has been 8 months since I stopped paying them. None of them called today. Does this mean they are in the process of taking me to court? I have my first meeting with an attorney tomorrow.

Some banks and federal offices took off in honor of president Ford. This maybe why.

      Even if....

Even if they are preparing to sue you, that takes time.

First they serve you. Then you have a "window" in which to respond. Then they get a judgement (provided you have no defense).

      Then they have to collect.

I've been that route, and it took awhile. I was actually garnished for 6 or so months....I wonder now, why didn't I file sooner? That was stupid of me.

Good luck to you! It gets better -- it definitely gets better.
