    Discharged!

I've only posted on this forum on one other occasion, in response to the "how did you get here" question in the General Bankruptcy section, but I've checked it almost daily since finding it. I've found lots of useful information that has helped me as I've worked my way through this experience and I truly appreciate that.

My attorney was very supportive, did a great job, and was well worth the expense, but being able to read the posts of people that have "been there, done that" probably kept me sane through the past couple of months. Learning about PACER was really a Godsend.

My wife and I filed for chapter 7 on 9/27/06, had our 341 hearing on 11/3/06, which was really a painless experience as our attorney had prepared us well and we had taken the time to come early and watch several hearings prior to our own, and the last day for objections was 01/02/07. I checked PACER last night and was surprised to see that our case was discharged on 01/04/07.

I am already well on my way to establishing financial security, am grateful for being given the opportunity to start over, and am confident that I will not repeat past mistakes. I wish everyone here the very best.

      Congratulations Hagar

I have exactly 30 days left to go until the deadline for objections and I like you have no desire to repeat past mistakes, we should all be grateful for the chance we are given to start fresh through this process. Here's to a new year, and a new start in life!
