Whether should I filed the Chapter 7

I am a full-time student at my university. I work part-time in the restaurant. Have one wife to support. So my salary pretty much go toward supporitng my family and my rent. My income will definitely way below state median income.Right now I just have enough money to barely cover the rent. I have around $9 grant debt in credit card and $2000 for my braces with my dentist. All of my credit card have maxed out already. I have been in minimum payment for almost a year now and all of the CC interest rate is 30%. I am still have a least 8 months left for my braces to finish. If I file the bankruptcy, I have to list my dentist debt in my bankruptcy paper. Then do u think he would stop my service with him. Or should I wait until 8 months later on when my braces is finish and then file for bankruptcy.
During the period of 8 months, should I continue pay minimum payment to CC for couples month, then apply 4 some more credit cards, maxed all of them out(of course, I will use the CC before 6 months window frame). Then file the bankruptcy.
I will graduate next 2 years, will bankruptcy affect my potential job searching? I will major in Finance.
    Thank you for helping me

yeah, that is a good start right there...having only one wife to support. Once you three or four...BINGO! the costs rise exponentially!!

9 grand in CC debt should cost you about 180.00 per month if you negotiate with them...I would try that before using my silver bullet BK...Remember, if you go BK now, you have to wait a long time before you can do it again...

If you file before finishing paying your dentist, since you are required to list all debt, you do need to include this debt on your creditor list. Whether being included causes your dentist to refuse to continue treatment is up to the dentist. However, you can sign a reaffirmation agreement to repay the dentist even after filing bankruptcy.

This is bankruptcy fraud, pure and simple. You are taking out new credit cards and charging them to their limits knowing that you intend to file and wipe them out. Can you get away with it if you wait to file for six months after using them? Probably. Is it still fraud? You betcha.

It could, especially if the jobs you hope to get include handling money accounts directly. How much impact (if any) a bankruptcy will have varies from employer to employer, and how much influence they each place on your current credit report status. It is against the law to refuse to hire someone solely because they filed bankruptcy unless that restriction is clearly indicated in the job description. However, it's very easy to present a perfectly acceptable and legal reason for not hiring someone, even if their bankruptcy is the real reason.

Lemme, see...As pointed out in the other post, that is BK fraud but the good news is that if you do get caught and sent to jail, I believe they will be required to fix your teeth!!

I was just another customers that get trapped into the credit card industry scam. Before, all of my card have around 12% or 9% interest rate. But I just forgot one late payment on one of my CC. After that, all of my CC went up to %30 interest rate. In the beginning, I really want to work hard and pay off those debts. But then the interest rate is so high, and my family back at my home country have an emergency( i am an immigrant), so I have to go back to my home country and bring some money to support my home country family. I haven't work for 6 months, just have a little money left. Right now, I am back to work at the restaurant but not so many hours. I don't think I can be able to pay off those debt right away. It is extremely hard when you go to school full-time and work at the same time to support your wife (my wife doesn't work) and my family back home. I just wanna have a clean and fresh start of my life. Forget about everything that just happened 4 the last year.
Do you think like I can negotiate with the creditor for the lump sum payment. I would agree to pay 70% of my total debt with the agreement that they would remove any negative mark on my credit history. Or should I just file the bankruptcy?
I know that it's not good to maxed out most of your credit card before 8 months filing? But I just wanna bite back the credit card industry that have manipulated me. Will most of my debt incurred 8 months before filing bankruptcy dischargable?

If the CC are dumb enough to still issuing credit to such finanical profile..... then they deserve to be screwed.

But seriously, we don't encourage nor support abuse of the BK system. The system has benefitted us. We don't like to see it abused. Please do not ask for advise on how to perpetrate a fraud. I am sorry but IF you do choose to commit fraud, I hope you get caught.
