    Yamaha Credit card

    Howdy,

Filed in March of 2003 and discharged in july of 2003. Had purchased ATV on yamaha credit card in 2002, continued to make payments for nearly a year after discharge but when I called to get a balance since I no longer recieved statements they stated it was with Bass and Assoc no way to give me info.
stopped paying at that time and never heard anything til last week 2007 mind you, they say they want to pick it up. I don't even have anything but a few parts as it was a race machine and after last tranny blow out tore it down and sent to shop but bill was running upwards of 2k with them on it so never put it back together and moved on to a new one.

What should I do about bass?
    Thanks in advance

In your letter from Bass and A$$, did they specifically mention the ATV??!! Or did you get one of those generic, "Tell us what you bought with XYZ CC." type letters??

I would tell them go ahead and come pick it up and that it will be packed up in three boxes on your front porch.

              Just let them have it!

We had a Polaris 4 wheeler that was bought with a Polaris card at our lawyers advice we decidedto tell them we where going to surrender and when they contacted us try to settle with them for around a 1000.00. Never heard nothing until the week after discharge and Bass and Associates contacted us, we told them we might be willing to settle they wanted 2500.00 to settle we offered a 1000.00 seeing as we had already paid 2500.00 for it on the card and only paid 3800.00 brand new they said no 2500.00 or we come get it. We told them come get it. They will send a truck driver out we actually met him in a parking lot. He was very nice. Thanked DH. Told him that it is not uncommon to get them back in boxes and trashed. They took ours to a auction in GA. Just get all your parts together and give it to them in a box. They deserve it.

I would tell them if they want it, fine. As soon as they show me the court paper that says they can have it we will make arrangements for them to pick it up. Why make it easy for the bottom feeders?
