    BK closed...FINALLY

    Hey all,

    Checked Pacer today...I was very pleased to see that my case is finally closed! After having been discharged in 8/05 it was a long time coming, but whoo hoo It is all over! Good luck to everyone on the forum and to all that lent an ear listening to my woes....Thanks So Much! You were all a great help! Take care all...

      But, like BK Betty,.......... Enquiring minds wanna know,.......... What took so long for your BK to Close??!!

        At the time of our creditors meeting, the trustee thought we were hiding something. She couldn't believe that we could not get at least 250,000.00 for our home. She was going to have one of her realtors come in, but that never happened. I had the house apprasied again after the meeting and sent her all the paperwork showing exactly again what our home would sell for. Never heard from her again. My attorney said not to worry about it, it was fine, you are all done. I checked Pacer every now and again and FINALLY she closed it...!! We were not hiding any assests and we were right on with our home. I just thank God it's CLOSED!!! Take care all...

          Bet that feels good !!! Congrats !! Been waiting over year for mine to close...they just take their sweet time.
