Unauthorized credit pull AFTER discharge!

I recently found out that the credit union that I had my accounts with (and have been closed now since my discharge in February) pulled a hard inquiry on my credit report, more than a WEEk after they were notified of my discharge.

What do I need to do to get this removed, and to let them know that they had no reason AND they didn't have permission for this?

I am really ticked. Those people have been nothing but heinous to me since they found out I was filing. What recourse do I have?

According to some sources, I am entitled to a $1000.00 on account of the unauthorized pull. I am going to look into this some more.
