Just wanted to share that I was approved for a Target Redcard. When I filled out the application, it said "Further processing is needed," so I figured I would be denied. Ten minutes later, I checked my status and saw APPROVED! I have no idea what the limit will be - doesn't really matter as I don't plan to use it. I just want to have SOMETHING on my CR that wasn't part of the BK. Now, to apply for one for my husband....
So I now have:
- the new Target card
- Hooters MC ($1000 limit, $36 annual fee)
- Dell (opened pre-BK and had zero balance when we filed, $2000 limit JUST RAISED to $3500 this week)
Not fabulous, but not too bad either. Especially since I'm utilizing about $1000 total out of all that (just bought a new computer - 0% interest on it for a year).
So I now have:
