WE had our 314 meeting yesterday, converted from a Ch 13 to 7. I think pretty simple, 3 secured loans which are all reaffirmed. The trustee didn't ask for any additional information, no bank statements, tax returns, check stubs, nothing. He said that if we get an inheritance or large gift in the next 6 months we had to notify him. He asked if anything on our schedules had changed since we originally filed, we stated we had a child and that the motorcycle we had we no longer had (it was garbage). He asked if we still agreed that we estimate our house to be worth 79,000 and that our accessed value is 68,500 correct? WE said yes. He said this case is concluded. Does this mean everything is good, or could he still request more information?

There is a slim chance he could ask for something else, you should get papers in the mail in a few weeks. Sounds like a simple case and you are done. Congratulations and good luck in the future.Comment

Nothing is in the clear until discharge, and even then, there is still a one year period for objections, however, if the trustee didn't ask you for anything, you shouldn't need to worry.Comment

Thank you for replying. I will keep my fingers crossed and just try to move on. I am going to try to concentrate on rebuilding my marriage now, things haven't been good because of all the financial tension.Comment
