    Pacer Question

I just check pacer and the trustee has filed her final report and proposed asset distribution report. (YEAH!!!) Does anyone know how long after this it will take to get closed. I so want this nightmare to be over with.

    Thank,

    Ruth

After the Trustee makes the distributions, there's gonna be an Audit of your case. Who got paid how much type of thing to account for all the money. Once the Audit takes place, then your case can be Closed.

Our Court has a mandatory 30 day waiting period after the last Filing before the Clerk will Close a case. And at that, the Clerk does all Closings once a month, at the end of each month. Depending on your Court, I'm guessing you're probably looking at another month or 2.
    Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
    Discharged - 12/2006
Officially Declared No Asset - 03/2007
    Closed - 04/2007
