Reaffirmation - Cancel?
We just had our hearing about 2 wks ago. We did reaff on our home and car. We're now rethinking the car. We are way upside down and that payment is killing us even after getting out of everything else and its not running very well at all. Question is does anyone know what happens if we decide not to reaffirm? Atty said that we have 60 days to decide for sure. Also, I've read different opinions on whether we might be able to get financed for a new vehicle. Would you suggest trying to trade it? If anyone has dealt with this issue could you shed some light for me? please?!!
