As I posted in another thread - I was going over my petition this evening, as my attorney gave it to me to look over.
I did find a few errors:
my wife's social was off by one number (could be attributed to bad reading of my handwriting
)
Had one of my debts listed as a 'revolving charge' when in fact it is a 'personal loan'
double counted a few expenses: my car payment comes out of my wife's paycheck, as does our benefits. The petition has them listed as a deduction from the paycheck, AND on the schedule of expenses (oops). When I had figured my expenses I added those debits back into Schedule I so I coulde expense them on Schedule J, but the attorney already had our paystubs and entered the info.
These things should be easily fixed - but it does pay to read these things over. Even though the attorney is a pro at filinf these things, no one know your financial situation bettern than you do.
