So after years of waiting, the iPhone comes out tonight and now I can't afford it due to planning my bankruptcy filing sometime in August or September
There are already people lined up around the block waiting for it at the Apple Store on Michigan Avenue. Lucky dogs.
I know getting one isn't in the cards for at least another six months or so or however long this odyssey takes, but what if I pitched in some money and had family and friends pitch in the rest for my birthday next month? I'm sure that wouldn't sit well in my pending Chapter 7. Luxury purchase, correct?
Oh well, I've been living on cash since St. Patrick's Day and am loving it so I've passed up a lot of other things I would have easily purchased in the past. Anything to get out from under this mountain of debt. This iPhone envy too, shall pass.
