Had 341 Meeting today 4/28/05

Hi. We had our 341 meeting today. Were there for 2 hours. Mostly waiting. Ours was the last case. I guess it went ok. We had a great attorney. Very well prepared. I would recommend having all your paperwork together. There were at least 6 other cases that were objected to because they didnt have the proper paperwork. Example as bank statements, W2's. Tax returns, Titles to vechilces and homes, etc. No creditors showed up and we were filing $116,000 worth of unsecured debt. Yep you read it correctly. That much. I know its a lot. But it was 15 years in the making. Everytime we tried to get out of debt we just got further and further and about 3 years ago my husbands work cut hours so that hurt pretty bad. Only thing trustee questioned was our income. From looking at our 2004 tax returns we made a lot more than we are going to make this year. But husband got a $8000 bonus last year at the end of the year thats not guaranteed. Trustee kept our current paystubs to do some figuring and he said if there was a question on it we would hear from not him but the Justice department. O boy on that. But besides that it went ok. He didnt ask us for our bank statements but he did everyone else. I would just suggest making sure youre prepared for any question. One guy had withdrawn $3000 from his account the day before he filed and the trustee wanted to know where it went. He said dont know. Not good. He got objected. Just have to wait the 60 days now I guess.
