I have several loans with AmeriCash but when the lawyer filed my chapter 7 he only put in one of the Americash accounts. Is this one enough to clear all the others with them or do i need to call him and tell him to add the others?

Call him tomorrow and tell him about this. If you haven't had your 341 meeting yet, your lawyer can still amend your forms to include the extra loans.Originally posted by iamwhoiam View PostI have several loans with AmeriCash but when the lawyer filed my chapter 7 he only put in one of the Americash accounts. If you have had your 341, in most states, a debt that would have been discharged if it had been listed is considered discharged anyway. Ask your lawyer when you tell him about this - he should know if your state is one of the ones that recognizes this or if you'll have to amend your filing to include the extra loans.
And for everyone here who is preparing to file, this is a good example of why it's very important to go through each page of your bankruptcy forms line by line in your lawyer's office before signing them to ensure nothing has been left out and all the figures are correct. Iamwhoiam will be able to fix this fairly easily
- sometimes what you forget to add or overlook can be a disaster!
