    Two cell phones...............

One way to stop creditors/collectors from hassling you at work is by not giving them your employer's actual phone #, and your extension, but your cell phone #.
If you have 2 cell phones, use the other # as your home phone.

This will work for awhile if you've never put the real numbers on any credit or loan applications.

If a creditor or collector REALLY wants to find you, they use skip tracing. Here's a free way to find someone who doesn't want to be found - http://www.skiptracer.com/ . And if you are willing to pay a skip tracer, it's hard to hide anywhere for long.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
