Dispute or not to Dispute Yet?

I filed my BK on the 17th. All Agency's are showing the BK already. My question is can i start to dispute everything on my credit report yet or should i wait?

Second question is do i want to say included in BK or do i want to just have them reinvestigate the debt?

    Thanks
    In Advance.

You might as well wait at least 30 days after you file. The credit agencies only update your record about that often. No sense disputing what may change on its own if you wait.

Check our Rebuilding Credit forum - http://bkforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=10 . Lots of great information here, including what should be on your record for each account and how to dispute.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

If the CR says IIB (included in BK) and showing a zero balance, then there is nothing to dispute.

Generally speaking, I advice people to wait at least 30 days from the date of discharge to begin disputing any "inaccurate" entries (i.e. showing Charge off instead of IIB). Reason being, if your BK is not discharged, then the debts will lose their IIB status...no point in disputing anything until after discharge.
