How do I give the bank keys and handle utilities?

I'm sorry to hear about your circumstances.
I applaud you however for doing as much as you could in this tough market. Most people in your predicament don't keep the utilities on and maintain the home.
I would follow your attorneys advice and do nothing. As far as the utilities, simply call the companies and tell them you want them disconnected. The keys you shouldn't have to worry about, as the company that the lender hires to maintain the property after the foreclosure sale will change locks on the home. They normally do this pretty quickly. If they want the utilities on they will turn them on in their name.
