my 341 experience

good morning to all!!!!! it is a great morning!!!!! had my 341 this morning....
was scheduled for 9 am....met lawer at 8:30...was only one in room and actually made small talk with the trustee....very pleasant but tough...
said we may as well hear your case....8:45 am...sworn in....asked many routine questions...yes and no....asked for no bank statements or history at all...questioned me about inheritence I will have if we sell house...10,000
which is exempt....he reminded me about paying inheritance tax on it at some point.....no big issue thank goodness...no creditors present!!!!!
not even sears or the people they sold the account to.....asked lawer if this was a no asset case and he said yes....he wished me good luck and closed my meeting....it was before 9 am so i had to hear 2 cases and then when he saw it was after 9am no creditors present for my case, he said what I wanted to hear...you can go!!!!!!yabba dabba doo.....could not have gone better...I know he got up on the right side of the bed today! very good mood.
he did have to scold some people...one girl was crying...I asked her what was wrong and she said she was scared....we calmed her down....
I give thanks to God and all of you for your support...hears hoping no creditors object, get the one judgement avoided and I can start my life over..
I pray that all of you with 341 s comming up have as pleasant an experience

Lrprn, I think us newbies always worry that creditors will show up, we always think the worse. I got one creditor I am worried about but the chances of him showing up is very very slim.

I have so many pay day loan places after me that i put on my BK. I wouldnt doubt it if they did show up. What happens if they show up what can they do or ask?

The only way it would pose a problem if a creditor does show up is if you owe them money by commiting fraud or if you lied about an asset otherwise they are out of luck.

thank you all.....creditors can show up if they are involved with a secure
interest in your account such as furniture or a car etc....also if you charged
or took large cash advances weeks before filing could throw up a red flag....
don't worry about it...if you have a lawer he can advise you....glad this day is over ...guzzie
