Cancelling all of my credit card accounts with balances

I am filing for BK 7 shorlty...I have a reputable attorney doing it for me.

I want to know if I should call and cancel all of the credit cards with balances (the ones I plan on including in my BK 7 filing) ??

I would NOT cancel the cards I have with a ZERO balance.

I ONLY want to cancel my cards with balances which are the ones that are going to be included in my Bankruptcy 7 filing.

Will by me cancelling these cards with balances HURT or affect my filing of BK 7 in any way?

For a BK filing there are two types of cards, bank cards and all the others.
Bank cards when they find out that you have filed BK they will cancel your cards at once. So if you have any rewards owed you get them ordered now, otherwise you will lose them.
For the other cards, it is a coin toss as to if they will remain open.

I have a lot of points with AMEX. Should I cash them out for some rewards or would that be frowned upon by the trustee and AMEX when I file in a few weeks???
