    Bk filed in 2002

    Hi,

I filed BK in 2002 and i have been checking my CR every year i have several negative items that are scheduled to come off from the CR in 08 and 09 BK wont come off until 2012. I have seen(on the forums) ppl. who got their Bk and account IIB removed way before the scheduled time i was wondering if any body can help me with that i would like to get these accounts removed but not sure how to start the process if i dispute it, on what grounds? and how? things like that. I would greatly appreciate the help.

    Thanks,

    ZJ

ZJ, people that get their bankruptcies off their credit record early do so two ways....

    1. The filer lies and tell the credit agencies that the bankruptcy isn't theirs and one of the credit agencies makes a mistake and takes it off.

    2. The filer lies and repeatedly assaults the credit agencies with challenge after challenge, and eventually someone makes a mistake and removes the debt.

Notice that both times the filer had to lie to get it accomplished. Other than a lucky random accident, there's no way to get a legitimate bankruptcy off your credit record without lying to do so.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
