After my CH-7 discharge, I noticed in one of my recent credit reports obtained through myfico.com, it states one reason for my low FICO score is that I have a short credit history. I have copies of my credit reports reports for each of the last 4 years, and looking through them, I noticed that my mortgage loan from 1990 is reported on all the old reports but not the recent one. There are other accounts too not in the recent report, but the mortgage loan is the oldest one. My 2005 report is showing late payments from only one account, an installment loan, but there are 90 and 120 day lates reported on it, but for some reason, it doesn't appear on my current report (got lucky on that one). My 2003 report doesn't show any lates and the installment loan mentioned previously isn't on there because that account was opened in 2005. I was planning on sending the CRA a copy of my 2003 report showing the mortgage loan and asking them to add it to my current report. However, I am afraid that during that process they may review all my old accounts and then see that the installment loan with the lates should have been reported also and then add that to my current report as well. If that happens, that would be worse than having the mortgage loan added back. Does anyone know if a CRA would review all old accounts to see if they should be added back, or review only the accounts from that 2003 report that I send them showing the mortgage loan?
