    Payment to credit card

Hello all, quick question for you wonderful helpful people again.

My spouse is not filing for bankruptcy protection. Only I am filing. We are not joint on anything except our house.

I do however, pay my spouses credit cards from our bank accounts.

How does me paying my spouses credit cards (they are my spouses accounts only in his/her name - not joint) affect my bankruptcy if at all?

He/She has about 4 credit cards and the minimums come up to about $600 in total.

    Thank you all!

Your spouses debt would not enter into a bankruptcy for you alone.

Since it is not secured debt it would not appear anywheres in your paperwork.

I suppose your danger would be showing to much disposable income where you might be forced into a Chapter 13 (but that would also be the case in a joint filing since you don't consider unsecured debt into expenses).
