    National City Secured?

Does anyone have a national city secured credit card? I went to their website, and they are only offering 3 unsecured credit cards for my zip code (Cleveland, OH)

Do I have to apply for a regular card, and then be offered a secured card if I don't qualify for an unsecured card?

    Thanks,

Why would you want a "secured card" with National City????? Its normally considered an "unsecure creditor" unless you have a mortgage/loan with them....

With National City, their secured cards are for building credit history, meaning those with minimal or no credit history can get a secured card. Nevertheless, I use National City for my everyday banking and I have been told that those with BK's can not get a CC or auto loan until the BK has fallen off the credit report. Of course this is what I've been told by the Branch Mananger and the Loan Officer, so don't take my word for it.
