    chapter 7 after all

Well i went to my lawyers office and waited to see him after not getting any phone calls back... we aggreed i would go ahead with a chapter 13 and then in six months i would plan to convert to chapter 7. I then asked my work not to schedule any overtime for me for the next six months and they said they ok. (i was acually kind of shocked they aggreed to that)

LONG STORY SHORT ... My lawyer called today and said he contacted the trustee or something and we are going ahead with the chapter 7 after all!!!
I dont want to get too excited yet until i see it posted on the pacer. I got prematurely excited after my 341 and dont want to jinx myself. I am 81 days in as of today... when should i expect discharge?
filed chapter 7 6-20-07 :blink:341 7-23-07, presumption of abuse :cry:7-24-07, motion to dismiss :aggress:8-24-07, notice of with drawl motion to dismiss 9-13-07:yahoo:Discharged 11-23-07:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

You should expect to discharge and close and expect nothing less. I will give you an early congrats. I have read a lot of post on this board and I lot of them were worse then your situation but after a fight they discharged and close. You will too.

You seem like such a nice guy, i know things will work our for the best.

To be honest, I betcha if half the people that were "forced" into chpt 13 or just were told by their lawyer that they "had" to go 13, if they would have fought they would have closed in a chpt 7.

We were pretty much over the median but no matter what anyone told us we were going 7, even though it isn't over we are currently "awaiting to close" according to pacer. But if something goes south towards the end I will fight!!! but I doubt it.
