garnishments

Did anyone on here have garnishments when they filed and how long did it take to get them stopped. I am planning on filing in the next couple of weeks and this garnishment is killin me!!!!

Mine didn't get to the stage of garnishment. They were seeking judgment against me which would have led to garnishment but I retained my lawyer within the time frame of the answer period and it was included in the bankruptcy filing a month later and I've had no further trouble.

Hopefully someone that actually got to garnishment can let you know their experience.
