So my lawyer just called ( i wonder if he reads this board,)
he said the trustee dismissed half of my case??? they dismissed the over the median income but they still want an ammended schedule J because they think i have enough money left over to pay.

How can they change thier minds so many times??? if they dismiss the over the median income what does it matter what my bills are anymore?

I'm confused, DD. Do you mean your trustee had two objections and the trustee dropped the objection related to whether you were over the median income or not?

Because your trustee can by law until your case is finally settled in your favor or dismissed.

Go back and ask your lawyer to explain this to you again. Ask him directly if what the trustee did is in your favor or not in your favor. Then ask what he's going to do next to resolve the remaining issue.

I'm thinking you may not be understanding what your lawyer told you. 'Dismissed' means bad things in a bankruptcy case. It's very important to understand if the trustee actually 'dismissed' something or just dropped one of his objections. That will make a HUGE difference in how your case is going to turn out.

my atty said every bk case is unique but I sure hope you get what you want real quick....
