    Statement of Intention page

    Hi.
I am filing for bankruptcy without my husband. We are going to only reaffirm our primary residence and we will let go of our second home in the bankruptcy.

On the "Statement of intention" page, since I am the only one filing for bankruptcy, do we both sign this page or do I only sign?

We are joint on all of the deeds-titles of the properties but we are only going to re-affirm our primary residence and lose the others in the bankruptcy 7 proceedings.

I have a hunch that I am the only debtor, thus only I should sign this page, but I'm not completely sure because he is joint on the deed.

    What do you think?

If you are the only person filing BK, you are the only person that signs the document.

Question...you say you are joint on the deed, but are you and your husband joint on the mortgages...if so, you may have some issues with our husband still be liable for the debt on the second home that you let go.
