Discharge Papers for a chapter 7

There is a similar post to this in the Chapter 13 section, but I would like to know how long it takes in a Chapter 7 to receive your discharge letter after the last day to object. I have heard that most of the time the discharge is granted within a week of the last objection date, but when does the actual discharge letter / papers get sent?

And what exactly does the court send? Is it a one page letter? Or does it also individually list all debts that have been discharged?

My online account with my primary mortgageholder was suspended when I filed, and they told me that it would be reinstated as soon as I was discharged. But I'd need to send them this document to prove the discharge.

Oh, good question, Boscoe! I need to wait for the same thing with my student loans. They told me not to pay them until after discharge, and to send them a copy of it to get my online access back.

The discharge paper is usually sent within a day or two of when the discharge appears on PACER.

If Pacer shows you as discharged, the documents can be downloaded instantly. At least that's how it worked for me.

That is correct. The document you Download from PACER is the exact same you will get in the mail.

Glad I read this thread because I wouldn't have known about sending my discharge paperwork to the two loans I reaffirmed....my home equity loan and auto loan. I just "assumed" they would get the paperwork automatically from the court themselves.
