    Some Questions

    Hey Guys,

Just a quick note on my background. I'm from kentucky and been lurking and reading here since JAN/05. Anyways on to the questions I have and advice I need.

    1. I filed chapter 7 in Feb and expect my discharge on 05/31/05. On pacer the last thread on case history states is the Trustee's Report of No Distrubution. Is that good? Would you expect any problems on the closing end of my Chapter 7?

    2. I really worked hard on the packet from my lawyer before I filed, income, expenses, budget, debts, etc. I absoultly forgot one, Sprint PCS and i think I owed them something like 350.00. This close to the end of my bank. and so close to 5/31/05 would you amend the bank.? or let it go and fight afterword?

    3. My care was repossed but it was in my mother's name and she is filing bank. on it. I have a credit score of 440 currently this month. Before I filed it was 480, march 400, april 420 and may 440. I know it is slowly rising. Will it go down drastically after the discharge? Or is it on the rise?

    4. This also ties to number 3. Since I knew I was filing I tried to finance a car twice. The first time was 3 days before I actually filed bk. They app me for a 2005 pontiac sunfire, I declined because of the size/prac/history of those vehicles. I tired again a second time april 15th and was app for a 1999 nissan altima, i declined again as fear of financing before bk was discharged. Will I be able to finance after my discharge and get a car since I was able to finance before and during my bk? and if so has anyone exp this same situation as me?

Alright I think that is it for now. This is an amazing site filled with spec. information for anyone filing or needing information on bk. thank you from the most bottom of my heart for ans. almost every question even though i was just reading....

    1. That is good, that means the trustee doesn't think there are any assets available to pay back creditors.

    2. There is no harm in amending, if you don't, you will have to pay the bill.

    3. Odds are, it will go up upon discharge. (the lowests possible score is 350).

    4. Well, you are forbidden from buying anything on credit while the BK is pending (i.e. before discharge), so good thing you didn't accept. But yes, someone will finance you, but you will pay a lot in interest and odds are they will require a significant down payment, whether you want the car they are willing to finance you in is another question, your probably going to have to take what you can get.

The better option is to wait about 6-10 months after BK to get a car when your credit is a little better.
