Discharge

My last day for objection to discharge is today, 05/31/05. How long does it take to get discharged? for it to show on pacer? to get the letter from bk court? The last thing on pacer was the no assests post by the trustee.

According to my attorney it may take up to 30 days after your date to get your discharge papers. Due to the flood of bk's with the new law being signed my attorney said the courts are being flooded with bk petitions right now and that is the delay. Waiting on my discharge also 5/20/05 was my last day and I am still waiting.

Generally, it should show up on Pacer the very next day, but there are things that can delay it.

It took mine about a week to get discharged and that's in Michigan.

Still waiting for mailed copy

Close of case was end of April +-.
On pacer it showed up in 2 days and was not downloadable until the 3nd day. I printed it out and went out to buy a car (had to turn one in May 3) As for the court maling it to me I am still waiting and have seen nothing yet.

Is still waiting for it to show on pacer...may 31st...it's now going to start day 3 on june 3rd....so i'm assuming next week sometime...
