    Above median

My wife and I are above the median income for Wyoming by about 10,000 she is being threatened with law suits by 2 collection agencys recieved letters last week and a response is due to them in 30 days. She wants to file BK due to the fact that she is in the negative if she pays all her bills. I do not because we have no joint accounts except for our home. Is our home protected due to the fact I am on it and do not wish to file. I dont make enought to cover all of the bills and we have 3 children. And still have food on the table and gas in the cars. If you are above will they grant you a discharge under 7 or 13?

We were almost that much above the median, we have 4 kids and I have massive medical bills. We filed per se and now discharge and will be closed tomorrow. As long as you pass the means test you can file chpt 7. About 90-95% bk filers are over the median.
Success is reachable, stretch out your arm and grab it.

There are a handful of states that still have "tenants in entirety" and I do believe Wyoming is one of them. Please check this out for yourself though.

When a home is owned in this tenancy, the couple must be married. The couple is considered one unit and one person cannot sell without the other's permission.

The good news is..........a creditor cannot separate the couple either to attach a lien or confiscate the property.

Check to see if Wyoming is still one of the states and check your deed. Hopefully your deed is held in this tenancy.
