how often do you check pacer

I was wondering how often you check pacer and what exactly should I look for?

What you should look for when checking PACER is the last date of filing. If nothing has been filed since you last checked, then nothing new has happened. Be careful though because youcan rack a hefty bill if you're looking at documents. PACER charges $0.08 per page and it can add up quickly.

As for how often I checked PACER.....maybe once a week, but since my discharge, I don't check that often because my case is over, even though it has not closed yet.

After I looked thru everything about our case on PACER, I did what BassBoy suggested.

Made note of the Last Date anything was filed. Then I checked about 1x a week between our 341 and Discharge.

After we filed our taxes and submitted them to the Trustee, I checked almost daily looking for word from the Trustee what he was gonna do with our refund. About 3 weeks later, there was a new Filing. Thankfully, it was our No Asset Report.

You can check PACER as often as you want without running up too much of a bill. Just watch that Last Date of Filing. If that doesn't change, there's no need to go looking at documents.
