Question about Child Support Owed

Hi
If there is a child support order in place, but I am not receiving child support, will the trustee attempt to collect that money in my behalf?
Also, if things like child support and SS monies are exempt, then why do we have to put it down as income? If the money can't be used for repayment of debt, I don't understand why it must be listed.

No, the trustee is NOT going to help you collect child support.

If you are NOT receiving child support, then you don't need to list it as income since you are not actually receiving it.

As for the why? it is not our place to question to why, but only do or die. (go ask you local congressman).

i make sure i pay my support, it comes first. gotta take care of my kids.. good luck
