BK counseling question

What should I do. I want to meet with lawyer A who wants me to take the pre BK counseling before meeting with him. I also want to meet lawyer B who wants me to wait closer to teh date we plan on filling before taking the class. Has anyone else had a similiar experience and is lawyer jumping teh gun on making me take the class before meeting him?

My lawyer was like lawyer B. I wanted to get going right away, and he said to wait until I was 100% sure of when I was going to file before taking the class, because if you take the class and then don't file for 180 days, you have to take the class all over again. I can see why lawyer A might want you to take the class, because it does force you to have all your paperwork in order so it would make things easier for him, but if I were you I'd find a lawyer C who agrees with lawyer B, and interview the two of them, and forget lawyer A, they sound either lazy at worst or just not thinking about the people who might have to take the class twice if things take a while to get filed.

If you're sure you want to file soon take the class but I don't think an attorney should require it before meeting with you. It sounds like that particular attorney only wants to meet with people who are serious about filing soon.

Thanks it appears attorney A is gung ho to file even though i told him we may need to wait since it has only been 45 days since i took out a cash advance and I used my cc's up to about 17 days ago. attorney B seems more patient. what scares me is both quoted 2500 plus 299 filling which seems high for a chapter 7
