Just had my 341 meeting today. I filed pro se so we were called last. No creditors showed up and the trustee was pretty laid back. He actually asked us less questions than he asked everyone else. I think because it was 12:30 and he wanted to go to lunch before the next set of meetings at 1:00.
There was one other couple that filed pro se and they went just before us. Apparently they didn't claim any assets at all. The trustee asked them if they had a checking account and they said yes and he asked them why they didn't list it. They also didn't claim anything for wearing apparel or jewelry even though she had jewelry on at the meeting and he pointed that out. Their defense was they listed everything under household goods but the Trustee really drilled them after that and was pretty annoyed. I was glad they went before us. I had 12 pages of assets. The trustee even said I did a really good job.
Anyway, I just want to say thanks to all of you on this board. I felt so much more prepared for this and have learned so much from all of you and your experiences.
Now I am just going to count down my 60 days!
