Foreclosure Sale past Tuesday

After six months of worring myself sick the sale date has past. I have no idea what went down at the auction and I could not care less. Most likley mortgage company rellenctently aquired mortgage and tax bill to boot. I suppose I can expect a legal document soon knocking at the door. How long do I get to pack and move out as a willing to cooporate repossesee?

I'll can now answer my own question if anyone would like to know.

It depends on you. If you are resisting or abusive to the people who now own your home they will start eviction proceedings and have you put out probably in a week or so. (I don't recommend that approch) My stratagy was just the opposite. I called the morgage company suggested that we work out an ageement to avoid the eviction phase. They agreed to give me 30 days and $1100.00 dollars if I would surrender possesson willingly.

Did you owe taxes on the property? Did the buyer assume or pay for the taxes owed on the property when the forclosure sale happened?
