Can you renegotiate studen loan interest rates

I was just wondering if anybody has ever done this because of bk and successfully lowered their interest rate on student loans?

I've never heard of this being done, but I used to work for a student loan company and if they are federal loans you probably don't have a real chance of this happening. Student loans are pretty untouchable in any fashion when filing BK. All I remember seeing regarding BK is that they put a BK forbearance on your loans while you are filing so you don't pay until you are done.
