    Survived the 341!

I had my 341 meeting today and it was as easy as everyone said. Five minutes, basic questions, done. I guess there were about 10 of us there for their individual meetings. No creditors showed up. My attorney had not arrived when the meeting began, which was kind of freaking me out, but then the trustee announced that she was caught up in BK court and would be here soon, which she was. Whew!

The trustee started the meeting on the "dot." She called one guy filing pro se and he was not there, so she dismissed the case. A guy came in a little later by himself and I wondered if that was him. If so...he shouldn't have been late. That really cost him in more ways than one.

My attorney wants to file an amended plan due to some recent changes in my income and expenses so we're working on that, along with addressing the trustee's objections, which don't seem too serious (at least to me anyway).

One creditor has filed a claim so far.

    One more step.

It means going it alone without a attorney.

Yeah, I've aleady had objections. Evidently my trustee objects to something on everyone, according to my attorney. The trustee's office calculated my income incorrectly - I get paid 24 times a year instead of 26 - so they objected to my stated income. That one is easily confirmed. The attorney put 60 months in one place and 36 months in another in the paperwork. Also easily fixed. They objected to my high medical expenses, but I have receipts for every penny. Same thing with auto expenses. I actually had an objection on file within two weeks of filing. Evidently it's routine in my district.
