I checked the means test for my state. My Income per month is less than the "standard deductions," and in many cases, my expenses are more. As those who have read my previous posts, probably know, I am taking money from things like heat, food, clothing. I totally freaked out when I saw that I was allowed to spend 494$ on food, clothing, house hold and personal miscellaneous! The thing I looked at (legalconsumer.com) said "no need to compute expense deductions." Here I am eating rice and having one pair of shoes and the toilet won't drain and I am living without heat (yeah, still).
Last year I made a bit more, but still under the state median income, because I cashed a portion of my retirement in a vain effort to pay my credit cards off.
The site would not let me download forms. I suspect I should have money for that. Any referrals to sites that are free as I am broke? Thanks!
