Foreclosure or give the house back?
Our house is vacant. And we just want to get this over....
The house has not yet gone into foreclosure....
Can we just give it back to the bank?
Are there any "bad" consequences" (i.e., tax consequences...ect..) of a deed in lieu of foreclosure for us as the homeowner as opposed to foreclosure....??
(we are filing a BK in the near future too.... not sure if this matters)
