Hello again!
I am a nervous wreck-my bonus I received 3 days before I filed for bk put me over the median in Mass by $70......what now...........341 meeting next week-

Also do i need my ssn card for the meeting?

I do not know for sure about your bonus but I wouldn't even mention it unless ask at the 341. But tell your lawyer ahead of time and take his advice. And yes you need your SS card or something like a W2 that has it on it that is official.

Being over the mean does not mean you can't file CH 7. The means test is just one part of the filing, if you are over the median then there is a "presumption of abuse", and you have to prove based on your other info that you are not actually abusing the CH 7 system, but does not preclude you from filing CH 7. It's your disposable income that determines if you can fund a CH 13 or not. Being over the median does mean it will probably be looked at a little more closely, but being so close, if your attorney has his and your ducks all in a row, it should still work out. Did your attorney say anything about being over the mean when you filed? You should have provided all pay stubs for the 6 months prior, so I assume he/she knew about the situation and decided you could file anyhow, so may not be anything to worry about. Good luck.
