    Deficiency judgments in Michigan?

Hello all,I'm new here. I was wondering if anyone had any information on how deficiency judgments are handled in the state of Michigan. All of the sites I came across said it "varies". Can someone explain how it varies, and what the rules are? I plan on letting my house go,but I'm worried about the mortgage company (WaMu) tapping into what little I have in a IRA,if a judgment is granted. I owe 184,000 on the 1st,and 22,000 on the 2nd. The house has been on the market for two years come this April. With all of the foreclosures around here I'm convinced that I can't afford to sell it,and I certainly can't afford to keep it. Any help is much appreciated!
